Welcome to the warmth and charm of a "front porch neighborhood" festival in Hometown America!

The best of Americana resides on the streets of Mount Pleasant. Kids laughing. Friendly faces smiling. Toes tapping to music. Deliciousness tickling noses, invoking memories of Nana’s, Nonna’s, Babcia's, Grandma's loving kitchen. Handmade crafts waiting for a new owner to love them. The neighborly warmth of small town charm mixes with the magnificent splendor of autumn creating homespun magic in the Laurel Highlands.

Sparky Time
Tens of thousands visit the Mount Pleasant Glass and Ethnic Festival each year. They watch the glass cutting demonstrations, listen to entertainment, stroll into the craft booths, and eat the food.

Many of the booths sell a variety of ethnic foods, including Italian, Polish, Greek, Chinese, Pennsylvania Dutch, and Early American to name a few. Crafters from many parts of the country demonstrate, display and sell wooden items, ceramics, knitted crafts, leather, ironware, and artisan stained glass.

In multiple areas around the festival, national, regional and local talent offers free entertainment for all ages. Live music, dancing, animal shows, and contests take residence on the streets of Mount Pleasant. Guests can discover the Little Miss, Young Miss and Miss Pageants, Mt. Pleasant’s Got Talent, the Baby Contest, the Stroller Parade, KidsFest, Sparkle Spectacular, and the Illumination Launch. Thousands line Main Street for the Saturday Grand Parade. Fireworks close the festival Sunday evening.

Join us this September. We look forward to seeing you here.

Guests are encouraged to leave their backpacks, duffle bags or other large bags at home.
